An invited competition to design the Qatar FIFA 2022 World Cup Final Stadium in partnership with Mangera Yvars Architects (Barcelona).

Working collaboratively the stadium was designed to FIFA Standards for 86,000 spectators and has a calligraphic exterior with a rooftop garden and other public spaces to provide legacy after the world cup.

Stadium bowl, informed by parametric modelling, was designed with flexibility and adaptability to accommodate future change, whether as an IAAF Athletics stadium for 60,000 by lifting the field of play to accommodate the larger area required for a running track, or as a National Stadium for 50,000 spectators with no loss of user experience or atmosphere.
