South Lanarkshire Schools Modernisation Project Phase 2 Tranche 2

Following the ongoing success of both Phase 1 and Phase 2 Tranche 1, Holmes Miller was appointed as part of Lend Lease’s team in 2011 onto Phase 2 Tranche 2 of South Lanarkshire Councils Primary School Modernisation Programme.

We are currently looking at the design and delivery of a further 10 schools, with the first school in this phase, Spittal Primary, started on site in early 2012.

School designs have focused on the provision of enhanced internal and external environments with greater flexibility, break out areas and integrated landscaping to support the ‘Curriculum for Excellence’ agenda whilst providing robust and best value solutions.
