Holmes Miller masterplanned a ‘Green Spine’ for this project, drawing the park through the site, ensuring a distinct, welcoming environment and provides a pleasant, easy to navigate route to each residential zone. To the South West corner of the site, houses are arranged around a ‘Village Green’ providing a distinctive, adaptable and safe area to relax and play.

Shared surface courtyards offer safe places to meet and play, encouraging greater levels of community interaction and community spirit, greater levels of community supervision or self-policing and improved play opportunities for local children. The landscaped open space surrounding the SUDS Pond is animated by the adjacent play area and by the cycle path running alongside.
