GJNH Innovation Centre

The ambitious intentions for the usage of the new ‘Innovation Centre’ within the Golden Jubilee National Hospital, had driven Holmes Miller to stretch the possibilities of each element within the design. With the intention to develop a space that reflected the client’s forward thinking.
One of the key parts of the design is without a doubt the moving partition with fully integrated 65” touchscreens, which is able to divide to space into 3 different layouts. Linking with the bespoke tables that house touch screens or tablet holders the space transforms into a high tech area, allowing interactive, collaborative and creative working/thinking.
The material palate of the new ‘Innovation Centre’ mixed curved glass walls with light oak bespoke furniture and wall panels in a crisp white open space.
By removing the old walls and doors and replacing it with new full height glazed partitions, allowing full transparency which able you to see or been seen. Incorporating new social breakout areas throughout the newly designed space making the Innovation Centre feel open and welcoming.
The area has transformed from being dark and closed off into an open inviting and social space.
