Quadrant House, Dundee

Quadrant House is a handsome new-build multi-occupant office facility adjacent to Compass House on the River Tay. The twinned buildings are linked by an elegantly designed 3-storey glazed link structure, which allows easy access between the buildings while maintaining the important vistas from Dundee City Centre to the River Tay beyond.

With a prime riverside location enjoying panoramic views across the Firth of Tay, this new 3 storey office building provides 2695m² / 29,000ft² (GIA) of office building (shell, core and category A fit-out) with car parking on the Site, providing additional floor space for the Scottish Care Commission, who already occupy the adjacent Compass House and also the Social Services Council and the Scottish Charities Regulator. Detailed discussions with each Scottish Government department ensured that the internal space planning was tailored to suit each department’s specific requirements while accommodating the drive towards ‘efficient’ government buildings.

A single service core at each level supports a mix of open and closed, naturally ventilated floor plates. The three storey fully glazed link between buildings affords glimpses from Riverside Drive to the River Tay and Fife shore beyond.
